Arrive Alive Club Eden is a strong promoter and advocate of responsible drinking. Please refer to the transportation strategy below to ensure you arrive home safely after a great night of partying at Eden.
Start with the guest's companions If your intoxicated patron has come with other guests, see if one of them has not been drinking and is willing to drive the friend home. If that's not an option, you can offer an incentive not to drive home, such as free parking for the night or a voucher for coffee in the morning. You might also ask your patron whether there is a friend or relative you could call who will provide safe transportation.
Get the guest and car home – Keys Please Keys Please will dispatch a vehicle with two drivers. One driver will drive the customer (and their guests) in his/her own vehicle to whatever destination they choose. The other driver will follow; keeping track of the distance traveled and pick up their partner at the end of the trip. The cost is a few dollars more than a one-way cab fare. (Cost averages $5.00 - $7.00 more than a one way cab fare). Rate examples: 2 kilometres $17.35, 5 kilometres $22.33, 10 kilometres $30.08 (rates may differ between locations). Charge increases every 2/10 of a kilometre. Hours of operation are: 4:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Sunday through Saturday, year round. Service outside of these hours must be pre-arranged.
Average service time is within 20 – 30 minutes; however, if looking to be picked up between 11:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m., we suggest calling an hour in advance of the time you wish the service. Dispatch will advise the approximate time they can expect the service to arrive.
